Jon's the backbone of the Pedal Collective. With his vast experience in cycle logistics, he's been instrumental in guiding the team through the challenges of launching their startup.
Jon’s career in cycle logistics began with a newspaper round at 12, laying the foundation for a lifelong dedication to two-wheeled transport. In his early 20s, he honed his skills as a same-day courier, navigating London’s streets with an A-Z and a radio. He then joined Control Couriers, a cooperative at the forefront of integrating cargo bikes into urban logistics.
After a few moves outside the capital, his expertise led him to Zedify Bristol, where he became Operations Manager, helping to expand sustainable urban deliveries in partnership with a nationwide network. Now, he is taking the next step by launching a co-operative in Bristol, aiming for a collaborative, rider-led, and locally focused approach.
